- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in the Automotive / Earthmoving or similar environment, with a minimum of 2 years dealing with large and complex Suppliers.
- Minimum 2 years Excel experience (pivot tables, v-look up, spread sheets, graphs), BI-Reports.
- Minimum 2 years experience in International freight, forwarding processes, legal requirements and compliance.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of SAP MRP, Forecasting, Inventory Management, Master data maintenance, SAP warehouse transactions.
- Strong business sense.
- Strong negotiating and persuasion skills.
- Excellent in building and maintaining relationships with excellent communication skills at all levels with a good command in English.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and have a sense of urgency.
- Proven problem solving ability with accurate numerological skills.
- Must be able to work independently in a highly pressurised and fast paced environment.
